Objectives of the Proposed Work

1. To significantly reduce critical path delay compared to conventional CORDIC MAC implementations.
2. To reduce hardware complexity by replacing conventional full adders and subtractors with XOR MUX based designs.
3. To improve overall hardware efficiency of MAC, MAC1, and MAC2 architectures.
4. To integrate XOR MUX based adders and subtractors into the existing CORDIC MAC structure.
5. To maintain acceptable computational accuracy for error tolerant applications.
6. To maintain the same functional behaviour while simplifying internal arithmetic logic.
7. To ensure compatibility of the optimized MAC design with FPGA architectures.
8. To verify the proposed design through functional simulation using Modalism.
9. To synthesize and analyse the design using Xilinx tools for resource and timing evaluation.
10. To demonstrate performance improvement without increasing power consumption.
11. To validate the effectiveness of XOR MUX based arithmetic units for high-speed FPGA MAC implementations.
